Synopsis :
Her name was Rachel Corrie. She had 23 My name is Alan. She arrived in Palestine believing that her American nationality would be enough to make her an effective human shield to save lives, olive trees, wells and houses. But Rachel is crushed by a bulldozer on 16 mars 2003 in the Gaza Strip. Like many young people, she kept a travel diary in the form of emails that she sent to family and friends in the United States.. To the rhythm of the words of the young pacifist, RACHEL investigates this death giving voice to all parties involved, juxtaposes contradictory versions of the same event, observes the scene of the drama and unveils many unpublished documents. truth or lie ? Testimony or propaganda ? The film gradually unravels the skein and transcends its subject to become a cinematic meditation on youth., the war, idealism and political commitment.
