This film tells the story of Merlin and Elie, two teenagers living in a pivotal year, the last of secondary education, within the Alter School, place of alternative education located in the middle of the Walloon countryside.
In tune with their desire for autonomy and academic requirements, they awaken to the world and to the concerns of our society. As Merlin strives to make his vegetable garden beautiful, Elie cultivates his critical mind and forges his political commitment.
